GUEST BOOK

We were so sadden to hear about Fred as we called to make an appointment for our lawn. We always enjoyed talking with Fred. He always took time to discuss our lawn. He brought it back to a beautiful lawn. As we travel around doing our jobs we would pass by him and always got wave and a smile from Fred. We will miss him. Our hearts go out to Fred's family.

Fred was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Starting his All About Lawns business in our neighborhood, he soon became the "go to" man for maintaining beautiful landscapes. Always with a smile and a kind word, he was a tribute to the community and will be sorely missed by all. Our prayers and sympathy are extended to the family and his many friends.

My sincerest sympathies go out to Eric and Meredith on the passing of your beloved Father. I'm extremely proud to say that I had the honor of knowing Fred. He is the kindest, most compassionate, loving and purely honorable man I had the pleasure of meeting. His thousands of hours training and sharing of knowledge to Wilmington Island's Boy Scout Troop 76 was absolutely immeasurable. With his countless years and hours of devotion and under his wonderful leadership and guidance, his BSA Troop 76 produced dozens of Eagle Scouts. Fred was loved by all of the Scouts and parents alike. I'm sure Fred is smiling down on all of us while holding hands with his late beloved wife, Sara. He will be sorely missed. May God's grace be on his family during this extremely trying and difficult time.

- Tom Todaro, Savannah, GA

Meredith and Eric, Flora and I are so saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. Such a genuine and unique man he was to converse with and just be around. On the other hand, we are heartened to know that, at the end, Fred was engaged in an activity that he truly enjoyed. We know you two will always have wonderful memories of him, just as you have with your Mother, and we wish to offer sincere condolences to you and all of your Dad's family. Peace be with you now as you part.

Eric and Meredith, I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was truly an unforgettable person for all, and meant a great deal to me as a mentor through middle and high school (on the way to Eagle). After finding the good within every person and event during life, there will surely be a high place for him next to your Mom in Heaven.
